Successful job interviews

You will need:
A set of tarot cards
A packet of seeds (any kind)
A green candle

Take the Ace of Rods, the Ace of Cups, and the Ace of Pentacles from the pack of tarot cards (aces are positive and represent success). Lay them face up on a table. Next, take the seeds (to signify new growth) and scatter a handful around the cards. Light the green candle (for money) and then repeat these words 12 times:

‘New work has begun,
From the power of the sun.’

End by saying: ‘So mote it be.’ Leave the cards and the seeds on the table until you land the job you’re after.

 

Dealing with unemployment

You will need:
A gold candle
A penny coin

Light the candle, which represents financial benefits, and recite:

‘To give me help in getting work,
From hard jobs I’ll not shirk.
Good jobs I’ll find and right away,
To let me drive my woes away.
My goal is sure, my need is strong,
Help me find where I belong.
Opportunity, work, rewards I see.
And as I will, so make it be.’

Drip some wax from the candle on to a penny and carry this coin with you whenever you’re job-seeking.
