hi all im a bit confused over something  that happened years back its always at the back of my mind.

i worked in a bar we took our breaks out the back were the deliverys were made they were 2 very long corridors and the lift for the deliveries was the only way out.

as im sitting eating lunch a little boy popped his head around the wall and smiled at me straight away i was worried as it was a restricted area. i got up looked round down the long corridor and he was no were to be seen it was to long for him to run to the lift in time without me seeing him.

i keep thinking back to his clothes they were shabby ,old boots and a grandad cap was he real or not, its the smile he gave me it was so lovely like i knew him xx

.

If you wanted you could always try searching online about the history of the place or asking any locals who've lived round there a while, but in the end only you can really answer if it was real or not to you.

But it certainly sounds like a visit from a decent spirit lad!

Real or Not

Hi Crissy

I have a bit of spare time tonight, unusually, so I've been going back through old postings and have just found yours which reminded me that years an elderly aunt who was living in what was once a small old manor house that had been converted into warden controlled flats and had extensions built on to make more flats (she was in the original part of the building), and one day was in her flat when she saw a child of about 6 or 7 yrs old standing in her bed sitting room.  "Hello my darling, have you got lost?" my aunt asked thinking she was a ralative of one of the other residents.  The child didn't answer but gave her a beautiful smile before disappearing.  Thinking about it auntie realised the child was wearing old fashioned clothes, perhaps 1920s or a bit earlier.  She saw her a few more times, in her flat and in the corridor, and each time said hello.  She never had a spoken reply, just that lovely smile before vanishing.  As far as she could find out, none of the other residents had seen her.  Presumably she was once living in the house before it was converted.
