 hi my name is karen and i live in birmingham. I have a great interest in all things paranormal. anyone out there a fan of living tv most haunted. i would like to say hi to lesley because i have been told if I meditate i would see and hear things. I come from a family of mediums. I see faces, have premonitions and i am very sensitive to peoples moods and feelings around me. a part of me wants to develop my abilities but i am a bit scared about it.  So i was wondering lesley if you could give me some insight and advice.

Hi karen, i used to live in Acocks Green in Birmingham but moved to north wales about 9 months ago. i live in the country now and it is lovely. I am in to angels, the law of attraction and such like. I was at birmingham yesterday for mother's day to see my children (well they are grown up now) and also my grandson. I had a fab time and i go back quite regularly.  i had a reading once from a woman called sue traenor at a psychic fair in birmingham and she was brilliant. have you heard of her? i go to mind body and spirit fairs  a lot..i love them! anyway chat to you again soon...........love Kaz   xx

 Hi Karen. I havent heard of Sue traenor to be honest but I wish I had as you say she was brilliant. I am in to angels to and often call upon arc angel Michael to help me out. I have a set of angel cards as well which I am trying to learn how to use. I missed the Mind body and spirit fair in Birmingham so I am waiting for the next one. My children have all grown up now to. My eldest son who is nearly thirty is back home with us but at least I have got him in to Most Haunted on living tv. Have you ever seen it?  I had a tarot reading not long ago and it has steered me towards a writing career fate and fortune magazine had a hand in it to, will tell you next time about that as it is a bit long winded. Hi kaz, yes i have watched most haunted and the first time i watched it , it scared me a bit and sometimes i think it is quite daft....especially when Derek Acorah does his theatrics! don't get me wrong i think he has got a gift but he is dramatic...lol.....Who are your fave mediums? I love Gordon Smith and have seen him at waterstone's in Birmingham giving talks and he is so interesting i could listen to him all night. i have all of his books too and they are great. I have some angel cards, doreen virtue ones but don't know how to read them i just use them for myself. I recently went to see a psychic called john Bride in wrexham with all the girls at work and he was fantastic. i didn't tell him anything and even hid my angel wing necklace and the first thing he said was i am psychic and i said no. and he said yes you are and when you walked in you had about 40 angels walk in behind you! he then did me an angel reading and he said he didn't normally do angel readings but was told to do one for me. He told me very accurate stuff and he was good with the girls from work. he also said i would do healing. i would like to join a circle but personally i don't think i am psychic although two other people have said i do have a gift. i would love to help people so anyway we'll see what happens.   talk to you soon...tell me more about your interests....love Kaz  xx

Hi Kaz. I love Gordon Smith to. I also love David Wells and Chris Conway who is currently on Most Haunted. This is really spooky, because a chinese healer and psychic told me that I too am psychic and if I meditated I would see and hear things. I come from a family of Mediums but I have to say, like you, I would love to help people but I am a little scared about it. You have to trust your spirit guide one hundred percent and David Wells kinda put me off when he was on Most haunted, when he was seeing skeletal faces and evil faces. I thought he was so brave the way he handled it, I am not sure I could be that brave. I was given a crystal on a piece of string from a medium who said it was right for me and would work for me when I asked it questions and it really does. I am getting more interested in working with crystals for healing. I also have a set of runes which I really want to learn how to use. I have meditation CDs and books on the subject. I believe in angels too. I am going to stratford at the end of the month and we are staying in a fifteenth century hotel that is supposed to be very haunted, I will let you know how I get on. Have you ever thought about meditating ? You might be like me and see and hear things. Does it scare you too or are you like me, if I can be trained by people who know what they are doing and I can trust, maybe I could make that first step into the unknown. Funny you should mention meditating as i have just bought a meditation cd by Gordon Smith. I haven't listened to it yet but i will soon. I have tried to meditate on my own but find it difficult. I know there used to be a meditation class in wrexham but not sure if it still runs but i will try to find out as i think that is my best bet. How exciting going to stay in a haunted place. Somewhere near us there is a haunted house that you can stay in and my partner always mentions it when we are passing so maybe one day we may pluck up the courage to go. Definitely let me know how you get on. another psychic in Birmingham said if i develope my gift i'd be clairaudiant and he said don't be afraid if you hear spirit voices and said i would make an excellent councellor and healer.....he was also very good and he is in a shop in the centre of brum....well just off broad street actually. YES i would love to have a gift to help people so think i need to join a circle to see if i really do have one. That is interesting that you come from a family of mediums and also the fact that you had a crystal given to you and it works. T he one thing in life i know definitely works is the law of attraction and i have explained this to lots of people and even bought them the book. Hi Kaz. I know what you mean about meditating on your own, I tried it the other day and found it very difficult. Don't you think that sometimes it would be better you had someone with the same interest to go on the journey with you. I have found a spiritualist church in sutton that does workshops, I am thinking of checking it out, but it would be nice if I could find someone near me that has the same interest. The haunted house you mentioned, have you tried to find out its history and the ghost stories attached to it. You also mentioned your partner, does he believe as much as you do or is he just supportive like my husband. Tell me more about the law of attraction and what is the book, I would like to buy it.I forgot to tell you that I am also interested in past lives. Years ago I read a book called 'The Bloxam Tapes' and it was full of stories of peoples fears and how their past lives affected their present life , their questions were answered through reggression. I have a chance to be reggressed as a test subject and I am quite exited about it, Just waiting to hear when it will be. What do you  think about this subject and would you like to know if you have lived before. I would love to be regressed as i bet you could find out some interesting things from past lives and i believe some things from past lives affect this life so a very interesting subject. please let me know how you get on. you asked about my partner well he has always been in to native american indians and is passionate about them. He now believes in angels and the law of attraction. The law of attraction really works. i bought a book called the law of attraction by michael losier and it was fantastic and very easy to understand. basically you manifest what you think about, you can write down what you want and the universe delivers it. ask, believe and receive.......it is a long story but i believe that book was waiting for me in the book shop, mad as it sounds. it was at a time when i was low and needed to change my life in every way and honestly i haven't looked back since. i have given or bought that book to so many people and some of them laughed at me at first my sister being one of them but i bought her the book and she has bought it for her daughters etc..you can also get a box and cut out pictures of things you would like and pop it into the box  or make a vision board and stick things on it. you have to BELIEVE you will get these things and have no doubts...just trust the universe...it is too long to explain here best buy the book, you also have to help it manifest you know get off your back side but i found it a great book. I know what you mean when you say it is nice to have someone with the same interests because i have been laughed at alot for what i believe in, even my kids laugh at me but each to their own i still BELIEVE....LOL......oh also there is a DVD called the secret and that explains alot about the law of attracton.......I bet you will get lots of orb's on your camera when you go to the haunted hotel i am lookin forward to hearing all about it.  love Kaz xx

hi kaz. Thanks for the info I will definitely be buying that book. At least your partner now believes in something you do and I always thought that native Am erican Indians were very spiritual  people. A few years ago my husband bought me a CD of their chants with drums and backed by haunting music, even my husband listened to it. A new live most haunted starts this thursday and this time my son will be watching it with me, so we are going to get some munchies in and a bottle of wine and set up my laptop to their webcams, then settle down and hope it's a good one. It's on for four nights, so I will miss it on Saturday as it's off to Stratford and possibly some paranormal experiences of my own. Hi kaz we had a fab time in Stratford, the hotel was beautiful. Our room was supposed to be haunted by a mischevious ghost who turns taps on and moves things around, unfortunately he must have had a night off while we where there. But at the falstaff museum, I felt very sick in one of the rooms and I told my husband I had to leave before i threw up and according to the guide many visitors have felt the same in the spot i was standing. Most Haunted was a bit samey as all the others apart from Sunday night which was much more exiting. I also had an hour long tarot reading and she was fantastic.  found this fantastic shop called Mystic Dimenstions and she was doing readings in there. Did you get round to trying your meditation tape and how was the (was it mind, body and spirit fair) you must forgive my bad memory, I have just read your message but cant access it to remind me. Hi Kaz, glad you enjoyed your stay at the haunted hotel. even tho you didn't see or feel anything at least it was a break and it sounds lovely. it is great when you get a good reading isn't it? Me and my partner went to a mind, body and spirit fair on sunday and i bought some lovely angel bits n bobs. i love the talks that they do there some are really interesting. Do you believe in elementals and all that type of thing...you know nature spirits? I am going to Birmingham on saturday to see my gorgeous grandson amongst other members of my family. There is a mind, body and spirit fair on at shirley solihull on sat and sunday. i am gonna go on the sunday....i love them.....lol.... I did have a go of my meditation CD but i still can't seem to let myself go........think i need to join a guided meditation class as i have said before. hi kaz been busy working loads so just catching up with everything. I havent really given much thought to nature spirits although I have read about them, but I am always open minded about all things. Tried my angel cards out on my daughter and my close friend and the result was fantastic, they both said the angels had answered their question and they felt more positive about themselves. Doing another reading today for another friend and her daughter. Well, off now to cook the dinner. Hi Kaz, how are you? sorry i haven't replied earlier but i have been busy at work and haven't been on computer that much lately. Hope you had a nice easter. i went to see my grandson and family in birmingham at easter but didn't make it to the mind, body and spirit fair in birmingham so the next one is at the end of may in LLandudno which is just under an hour away from here so i am looking forward to that. I am really happy for you that you did an angel reading for your daughter and friends and had a good result. I would love to be able to do that so well done you. I have started my angel course with that psychic John but i have a loooooooong way to go.  LOL.  anyway i must go now.
