Hi,

I was wondeing if anyone could give me any advice on crystals or an angel I can cal on for help for depression.

My husband has all the signs & symptoms of depression but being a typical man he will not acknowledge it or even consider going to get help ( at the moment )

I really would like to help him ( from afar if you like )

Is there an angel I can ask for to help him, or can anyone sugest a crystal that might help. I have read my crystal books & really need on that he doesn't need to wear due to the nature of his job. So would like to put it in his pillow or for him to carry it around with him in his pocket or wallet. I have put a citrine crystal in his pillow in the hope this might help.

Any sugestions would be gratefully received as I hate seeing him suffer, the change in his mood is intense & I have never known him to have a " don't give a damn about anything " attitude before in the 13 years we have been together. I just want to help.

Thank you. x

Hello litledove, There are

Hello litledove,

There are many things u can do to help your husband and there is one thing that u r doin rite now even if u dont relise it. You are sending your husband love and holding the intention that you want him to get better! Please continue to do it remain positive. You can call apon Archangel Raphael and Archangel uriel they are both very powerfull angels who specialise in healing. All you need to do is call out to them pray if u like they will hear u and they will help u! Also if you feel you can try to imagine a green light surrounding your husband like a huge bubble going all around him even under his feet by doin this you are sending your husband healing energy. (try to do this when ever you can) However please dont despair Archangel Raphael and Archangel Uriel have more than enough healing power to help your husband. In the way of crystals citrine is very good perhaps try and put it in his pocket let him carry it around. Please dont fear your husband will get better and you need to continue to stay positive. i hope this has helped. i send you and your husband love and light carlie xx

Thank you

I wil definately try & picture him in a green bubble, as I read this post I tried it & managed to see him surounded by a green light, is this right?

I think I can get him to carry crystals because I wil tell him they wil help him in a "different" way & just leave out the depresion part.

I wil also call upon the angels. I always ask my Grandad to help me but felt this was a too bigger job for him & would prefer he used his protection for our children if that makes sense.

I will let you know how we get on. Is there any other crystal that can be used, do you know.

Thanks again, it's nice to know people do care even if they don't know you. xx

Depression

Having suffered from depression myself, I found it helpful to picture angels wings wrapped around me on the bad days - maybe you could try visualising that?  Same as imagining the green bubble, just hold the picture in your mind for a while and let it be.

Some people benefit from bright coloured crystals like citrine (as mentioned above) which is shades of yellow/orange or from clear quartz.  Others are better with a dark crystal to absorb negative thoughts - like onyx, obsidian or smoky quartz.

Sometimes just a 'worry pebble' from the garden does the trick - rolling it round your hand/palm works like those chinese worry-balls and can be calming.

You may have to try a few things to see what helps.

Crystals

Hi Litledove,

It's a shame your husband feels this way,

I have a book called 'Crystals' by Jennie Harding, and it says to to ease depression, try amethyst (to ward of negative influences) , angelite (for gentle healing energy), kunzite (to promote self confidence), or pink tourmaline (apparantely placing over the heart can help with emotions). I'm getting all of this info from this book, maybe you could buy a copy, it's £6.49 from bookdepository.co.uk, though they've got the 2007 edition, I've got the 2008 edition, but sure it wouldn't make much difference, it'll have the same things in it.  It has detailed descriptions of loads and loads of crystals and what their healing properties are.

Anyways lol. As you've said, you can wear it or carry it about with you, but putting them under pillows also works and you can also use them in layouts on your chakras, making energized water with them, placing them in a room like your bedroom, and even in a meditiation space, you can even hold them whilst meditating.  You could try and get your husband to meditate, it helps me when I feel a bit down, though I know depression is more than just feeling a bit down.

I hope these ideas help :)
