Two years ago we adopted a very loving Jack Russell dog called Baby. She was found by a dustman in a sports bag inside a wheelie bin she was only a 1 year old and she was also pregnant. She had her puppies in the kennels and when they were ready to leave her we was able to adopt her. The only problem she had was she loved to escape out the door as she love the kids chasing her. Sadly on this occasion she was hit by a speeding car. A kind neighbor brought her to us where she she died in my husbands arms.

I have seen her many times and so has my kids but my husband has not seen her.

Last year my family bought me a Jack Russell puppy. I named her Rosie,We often see Rosie running about as she is playing with another dog. I think that she has our ghost dog Baby as her playmate.

It's interesting that they

It's interesting that they get on well together - many animals growl and get stressed out around spirits!

Maybe animal spirits have a different effect on their fellow creatures?

I have a Jack Russell dog

I have a Jack Russell dog who is now a year old and ever since we've got him we call

him our psychic dog. He watches a certain space in the house and then follows an

imaginary thing round the house... it was very spooky at first but we have now got used to

it. Also when he was very young he would play on his own but it was just like he was having a game with another dog.  I love it...I find it very interesting x

I find this very

I find this very interesting, i love to think that my pets are still around me, i had a beloved pet put to sleep at the vets last year sadly. At the time he died, he had kidney failure and his urine had a very unusual and strong smell. Around a hour after his death i suddenly smelt his smell very strongly and the air felt cold, i didnt see him but i am sure he was there as i heard him drinking from his water container later on, which was something he did a lot before he died. The water in the container was moving by itself and the container itself moved as if it was being used, which im sure it was.

In the past i have had pets watch invisible things move around the room, their heads moving in unison staring at something i cant see.

Ghost Dog
Hi Georgie I'm sure it is Baby Rosie is playing with. I think it's lovely when departed pets come back to us. I still see our old cat Ebony occasionally. She was 20 years old when we had to have her put to sleep in 2000. I saw her spirit leave her body at the vets, she was a black fluffy cat and her whole body became a blue fuzzy light, which gradually left via the head until it was gone. I've seen her indoors a few times and for a long time our other 3 cats would run upstairs and leap over the landing where she used to lay as if she were still there. I came home from work one evening and saw her standing in the doorway between the kitchen and the living room. My husband and I have felt her walking across our legs in bed, we thought it was one of the others but when we put the light on there was nothing there. My husband has never seen her though. A few times one of the other cats has given a start and turned to look at something, when I followed her gaze I saw Ebony standing nearby. I still don't know what they all stare at on the landing though. Ebony used to do it as well. They sit on the bed and stare at the landing. The only thing I've ever seen there in the 30 years I've lived in our cottage is a circle of orange light with paler orange patterns in it, about 2 inches in diameter on the end wall of the cottage. It was about a foot off the floor. I couldn't find out where it was coming from. If it had come from outside and was shining either through the bathroom window or the spare room window it would have had to bend at a very sharp angle (like when you draw a horizontal straight line, and another straight line running upwards from it). I put my hand in front of the light thinking I'd block the beam but there was no light shining on the back of my hand and no light shining from the circle itself onto the inside of my hand. I thought how weird is that and after several minutes of trying to find the source went back to bed. A few minutes later I looked out again and it had gone. I don't know what it was, but I've not seen it since. Could it have been an orb? I thought they moved about though, not just stayed in one place. Rozanna

animals in spirit
Hi all, I found your stories about animals in spirit very interesting and isn't it lovely to think they are still around us. we had a jack russell called Tiny and i like to think he is ok and happy in spirit. Has anyone read Gordon Smith's book...The amazing power of animals? It is great and had me in tears, some really amazing story's in it. love Kaz...xxxxxxx
